Did you know? Horseback riding is more dangerous than riding motorcycles! Based on 2023 statistics, horseback riding hospital admissions are 0.49 per 1000 hours in the saddle, where motorcycle riding is only 0.14 per 1000 hours in the seat!

First Aid and CPR certification is a must for anyone working with or around horses (or motorcycles for that matter). If your child is taking lessons, the best thing you can do is to get certified in an environment that specifically focuses on the equestrian experience.
